Latvia ranks 4th among EU countries with lowest tax burden
Eurostat (ec.europa.eu/eurostat) released the latest figures for tax burdens in Europe. According to the report, EU27 tax revenues in 2006 were at 39.9% of GDP. Meanwhile Latvia’s tax burden was among the lowest in the European Union with 30.1% of GDP.
