The Ministry of Economy launches a new website for exporters and investors
www.trade.gov.pl a website gathering information and facilitating access to Trade and Investment Promotion Sections of Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Poland was launched by the Ministry of Economy on July 1st. The website, being the first initiative of the kind devised by the Ministry, is targeted at both Polish and foreign entrepreneurs.
The website is thought to function as a virtual data base providing useful information to all interested in developing business activity abroad and to foreign companies considering investing in Poland. The structure consists in the main portal and 45 integrated sub-websites of the Trade and Investment Sections operating at Polish Embassies and Consulates. This year the Ministry of Economy has plans to continue developing the website and to introduce two new sub-sites concerning centres operating in St. Petersburg and Shanghai.
Thanks to the information available at the website all the data concerning the current situation in Poland as well as essential facts regarding Polish culture, language, political system and life conditions are easily accessible to foreigners. Information connected to the business activity regulations, rules linked to export and import related activities and investment incentives available in Poland should prove particularly useful.
Moreover, Polish companies with export potential should find the complex information provided on the website equally handy. In the market guide section (przewodnik po rynku) prospective exporters will find adbice on doing business abroad as well as principles helping in establishing commercial contacts with foreign partners.
The website will also provide news on the events involving the Ministry of Economy and supply up-to-date information on meeting with foreign chambers of comers as well as publish accounts of meetings with foreign chambers of commerce and various commercial consultations.
