Baltic Biggest Factory of Office Furniture Opened in Lithuania

Last week the biggest office furniture factory in the Baltic States was opened in the Northeastearn Lithuania.

The Ukmergė town, located in the northeastern part of the country was selected as the most suitable place to build and open the factory because of its closiness to the capital city Vilnius (approx. 80 km) and one of the most important country‘s highways.

The owner of the new factory, UAB „Narbutas ir Ko“ www.narbutas.com, has invested more than EUR 20 million into the factory complex of 30 thousand sq. meters.

Now there are 200 factory employees, however, it is expected that the number will double till 2011, and the capacities of the factory will grow four times in due course.
