Number of Passengers and Flights at Lithuania’s Airports Continuously Increasing

During the first five months of the present year Lithuania’s international airports received almost 25% more passengers and 15% more flights comparing with the corresponding period last year.

During the period almost 1 million passengers landed at or took off from Lithuanian airports. Almost 85% of them took regular flights to and from the UK (14%), Germany (11%), Ireland (11%), Denmark (10%), and Egypt (8%). The number of people (almost 400 thousand) travelling by Lithuanian airlines’ planes has leaped by almost 51%.
