Women Executives and Mobile Penetration – Lithuania 2nd on Earth

Lithuania is No. 2 in the world according to the number of women executives as well as the extent of mobile connection penetration in the country. Also, Lithuania is No. 3 with its level of corporate taxation and No. 4 according to the national GDP growth speed, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) revealed in its newest World Competitiveness Yearbook.

In the world’s most comprehensive annual report on the competitiveness of nations, prepared by IMD in cooperation with LDA and other business promotion institutions, Lithuania holds the 36th place among 55 countries of the world, outpacing such countries as the neighbouring Poland, also Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Croatia and Ukraine.

The USA, Singapore, Hong-Kong and Switzerland appear as world’s most competitive countries.
